Colleton Adult Learning Center (CALC) serves hundreds of adult learners every year and the vast majority of those students enroll in our Assent Skills Upgrade Program (ASUP).   Our certified and highly qualified teachers work with adult students where they are by building an integrated educational prescription to increase academic skills.  We encourage e-learning and offer internet-based software specifically designed for the adult learner at no additional cost to the student. Basic skills education classes assist the adult learner to prepare for the Worldwide Interactive Network (WIN), Ready to Work (R2W) Tests, the Tests of Adult Basic Education (TABE) and the academic remediation and preparation for the learner’s goals in life.  The cost is $30 per semester.

Score reports with acceptable TABE scores are required by SC Works partners such as Ross Innovative Employment Solutions that provide up to $5,500 of tuition for post-secondary training opportunities.
