Colleton Adult Learning Center (CALC) equips the adult learner to earn the South Carolina High School Equivalency Diploma by passing the HSED tests. Over 20 students form the CALC family passed the HSED last year alone. Teachers who assist the adult learner prepare for this challenging seven and one-half hour test battery are certified and highly qualified, and have passed the South Carolina State Department of Education HSED Academy.

The GED® preparation program will prepare you to take and pass the General Education Development Tests in the areas of: Mathematical Reasoning, Reasoning through Language Arts, Science, and Social Studies.  GED® preparation is essential to help students 17 years and older to succeed in passing the HSED exam.  We will customize a program to fit your needs. The cost is $30 per semester, cash only please, for the HSED classes.

Students 17-19 years old must have official high school withdrawal papers prior to enrollment and/or testing.  Please arrive by 7:50 A.M. for morning registration and orientation and no later than 4:50 P.M. for registration and orientation in the evening.
